Surface Finishing
Cleaning parts and removing some of the rough edges gave motivation to include vibratory deburr and shot blasting. IMG’s surface finishing resources and processes provide flexibility for customer’s applications.
Shot Blasting:
- (1) Wheelabrator Spinner Hanger system to prevent parts from contacting each other during the shot blast process.
- (1) Goff Tumble Blast process for batch processing of multiple parts being shot blasted during a cycle. This is one of the most efficient process for blasting of higher quantities of parts.
High Capacity Sweco Vibratory – tumble deburr:
- Continuous feed
- Includes cleaning and drying for excellent commercial grade finishes

- When part applications demand a cleaner part condition such as electronic parts, etc. IMG has a special wash system where the parts are receive their final cleaning prior to shipment
